Hexa Gear Lord Impulse 1/24 scale plastic model kit, approximately 430mm in length

Περιγραφή
[Unit Description] Lord Impulse is a third-generation Hexa Gear developed by Earthcline Biomechanics. It's an excellent mass-produced unit that served as the prototype for the Rayblade Impulse. While it shares the same frame structure and most of its equipment, it offers superior versatility.
Earthcline Biomechanics initially planned to develop and manufacture two models, Voltrex and Lord Impulse. However, in the chaos following SANAT's takeover of MSG, the factory contracted to manufacture Voltrex was lost, and the Liberty Alliance's main combat Hexa Gear procurement plan was opted for with just one model, the Lord Impulse. With one of the two models missing, the unit's specifications were slightly revised, with the addition of a chain gun, a large magazine for the automatic grenade launcher, and the Trick Blade (see below). However, it still lacked the firepower it could carry, and heavy infantry weapons and older large weapons are often added at the discretion of the field. However, excessively heavy armament would detract from the distinctive features of a third-generation Hexa Gear and interfere with unit operations, so instructions have been issued to refrain from such use.
The movable thrusters equipped on the left and right sides of the front of the unit are used not for acceleration when running, but for instantaneous attitude control during jumps.
The rear of the unit is equipped with long, multi-jointed working limbs known as "Trick Blades." Equipped with movable claws at the tips that can grasp objects, these devices function as fifth limbs in close combat, allowing them to directly attack and drag down governors aboard enemy units as they pass each other during high-speed combat. They can also freely grasp and use firearms and blade-like striking devices. Made of solid mechanical components, these devices are controlled by Zoatex, allowing for movement that combines strength and flexibility, making them more versatile than the Voltrex's Tail Blade. Because the increased weight of these weapons would have reduced the unit's maneuverability and increased its size, they were not adopted as standard armament on the derivative unit, the "Rayblade Impulse."
(From Amazon.co.jp) (C) KOTOBUKIYA The distinctive tail, the "Trick Blade," has a mechanism that allows it to move flexibly up, down, left, and right, allowing for poses that are characteristic of a beast-like mecha. The claws at the tip can also be opened and closed to hold small weapons. The "Hound Bite," the mouth mount that holds the stick-shaped extension parts, can be opened and closed vertically, allowing it to hold a wide range of items, such as the separately sold Weapon Unit 06 Samurai Master Sword, instead of dedicated parts. The "Strike Edge" attached to the rear of the front legs has a two-stage extension mechanism, allowing you to switch between use and non-use without having to swap parts. It also uses a 3mm shaft for attachment, making it compatible with Frame Arms and other models. Recommended Ages: 15 and up
