The SHOTEN GTZ is an electronic mount adapter that enables AF operation of Contax G mount lenses on Nikon Z mount mirrorless cameras. It has a built-in AF drive motor, and adjusts the focus by moving the mount surface on the lens side back and forth. In addition, various information is transmitted to the body through electronic contacts on the body side mount.
