YJB PARTS' original Strato knobs recreate the realistic green discoloration of the lettering seen on vintage and old Stratos. The green discoloration of the lettering on Strato knobs is a phenomenon (patina) that occurs when the brass contained in the paint oxidizes, just like on gold knobs such as those on Les Pauls, but it features a unique color that mixes nuances of the original gold (brass color) with green (patina). After repeated prototypes, the "Dark Green Letters" series was completed to recreate this unique color that sets it apart from traditional green-lettered Strato knobs.
