For the moment when a room needs a little more presence, these Satya incense sticks bring a bold Black Opium fragrance with a bright, energising character. Light one before guests arrive, during an evening tidy, or when you want your home to feel more considered and softly scented.
A bold Black Opium scent
The fragrance has a perfumed, atmospheric feel, made for rooms that suit a deeper incense mood.
It works well as a transition ritual, marking the shift from daytime pace to a quieter evening.
The smoke rises in a fine thread from the coated stick, giving the room a slow, steady scent.
The brown incense coating and plain bamboo ends give the sticks a simple, traditional look.
The box shown is dark with cream and red labelling, in Satya’s familiar Nag Champa style.
Hand-rolled incense on bamboo
Each stick is hand-rolled coated incense on a bamboo stick. This gives the incense its familiar slim form: a scented coated section for burning, with a plain bamboo end to sit securely in a holder.
Lighting and burning
Light the coated tip, let it catch briefly, then blow out the flame so the end glows. Place the bamboo end in a heat-resistant incense holder or ash catcher, away from draughts and anything flammable.
Each stick has an approximate burn time of 30 minutes. Burn in a ventilated room and never leave incense unattended.
Made in India by Satya
Satya incense is closely associated with Indian stick incense, especially the Nag Champa style seen on the packaging. In many homes, incense is used as a small daily marker: after cleaning, before meditation, beside a bath, or at the end of the working day. The appeal is simple and practical, a little smoke, a recognisable fragrance, and a room that feels intentionally prepared.
