Step 2: Remove the exhaust filter/sponge filter. Step 3: Remove any debris and rinse with water. After rinsing, drain the water thoroughly and dry thoroughly. *If the exhaust filter is dirty, soak it in water for about 30 minutes and then rinse it under running water. Step 4: Assemble the dust cup in reverse order. *Align the protrusion on the cyclone unit with the notch on the dust cup case and install it all the way in. Step 5: Attach the dust cup to the vacuum cleaner body. 1) Insert the pin on the vacuum cleaner body into the hole at the top of the dust cup, and 2) push the dust cup in until it clicks into place. *Make sure to push the dust cup in securely.
