Welding filters are 2.5 mm thick, while the protective lenses are: 2 mm glass, 1 mm polycarbonate. The TS-50 welding shield consists of: a body made of plastic, a frame integrated with a handle made of plastic using the injection molding method, to which the filters and protective lenses are mounted. All shield elements are joined together using special rivets that are an integral part of the shield body, by welding. The TS-50 welding shield, when completed with replaceable welding filters and external protective lenses, is designed to protect the eyes, face, and neck from radiation occurring during electric arc welding.
