The bamboo whisk is an essential tool for whisking matcha.
This handmade tea whisk is made from a single piece of natural bamboo with fine bristles.
[How to Use] The tea whisk was an ancient tea-making tool. Tea leaves are made from finely chopped bamboo. It has become a must-have item in the Japanese tea ceremony and is used to mix matcha. The tea maker first uses a teaspoon to add powdered tea to a teacup, then adds hot water. The powdered tea and water are then stirred with the tea whisk to create foam.
[Product Description] A standard chasen has around 70 bristles, and a regular chasen has around 64 bristles, but an 80-strand chasen has 80 bristles. A 100-strand chasen has around 81 to 95 bristles. The more bristles there are, the finer the foam you can create, so even beginners can easily use one.
[Care] After use, rinse with water and clean with a tea whisk. Dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated place, then store in a cool, dark place where the temperature and humidity do not fluctuate much. Bamboo can crack or break if it dries out or is exposed to sudden temperature changes.
Reusable bamboo tea whisk for matcha powder, perfect for tea ceremony, traditional crafts, and more.
