Hikari Aoki and Ron Carter first met 20 years ago in New York. Since then, the two have released live DVDs, performed in concerts, and performed together twice at the inner hall of Kongobuji Temple, a World Heritage Site (closed to the public).
This ninth album, Aoki, who loves travel and art, produced everything from song selection to arrangements and every detail.
The album jacket, designed by photographer Yoshinobu Jumonji and art director Yukimasa Okumura, invites you into a world of ecstasy.
