900mm Woodworking Ruler - The Woodpeckers 900mm woodworking rule is straight, heavy, sits flat, and is easier to handle than other woodworking rules. Plus, it has a carving tolerance of ±0.4 inches total cumulative error. We're talking about the best rule you can implement in your workshop. LEFT-TO-RIGHT & CENTERED SCALES - This woodworking rule features two sets of laser engraved scales: one side with standard L2R scales and the other side with centering scales. Beveled Edge - The woodworking ruler features a 30° beveled edge to bring scale down to your work and prevent parallax errors. Add-ons - Woodworking rules come with three different optional add-ons: a hook stop to provide a physical reference at the end of the tool; a rule stop for making repeat marks; and a protractor head to turn the rule into a tsquare and protractor rule. MADE IN THE USA - Like all Woodpeckers tools, Precision Woodworking Rules are precisely machined and carefully inspected in our Strongsville, Ohio facility. These woodworking rules are machined from aircraft-grade aluminum and anodized for surface protection. The edges are 30° chamfered to reduce parallax error. The bright white laser-engraved scales contrast beautifully with the red anodized surface. A finger groove is machined into the center of the body to aid in rule placement. A relief section in the center of the back keeps the edge perfectly flat as you work. Different graduation layouts are available to meet specific needs. Our most popular version features a left-to-right reading scale on one side and a centering scale on the other. The center scale is ideal for locating drawer handles. The "0" mark is located exactly in the center, with the scale running in both directions from that point. Quickly and easily move the rule to center it on the board and then space evenly from that point. Another layout is one where one side reads left-to-right and the other side reads right-to-left. This is ideal for measuring from the rip fence to the blade of a table saw. If you work with both inch and metric measurements, you can add a left-to-right scale on one side. Choose the 49-inch model with a left-to-right inch scale on one side and a left-to-right metric scale on the other. All rule ends (except the 6-inch) feature precision-machined screw holes on both ends. Three clever accessories can be attached to the rule: Hook Stop Attachment.
