Size: Approx. W85 x 150cm Material: 85% cotton, 15% linen Country of Origin: Japan Noren curtains are uniquely Japanese items that can be used as room dividers, sunshades, and even as privacy screens. They are great for changing the atmosphere of a room or for hiding storage spaces. The top is a 4cm diameter tube that can be passed through a pole. I wanted to depict seaweed floating in the water, so I drew this pattern with crayons on a large piece of paper, imagining it as a large, expansive seaweed floating in the ocean. This medium-weight cotton-linen fabric has a rustic feel, made with a cotton-linen blend. The pattern placement varies depending on the product. Everything from fabric design to sewing and inspection is done in Japan, so you can rest assured that it's safe to use. Designed by Rieko Oka (Dot and Line Pattern Factory): A pattern artist. She has expanded her work from creating wallpapers inspired by the natural beauty of northern Japan to include familiar fabrics. Her works, which are based on themes such as the changing seasons and weather, sounds, and memories, have been highly praised in many areas. Produced by QUARTER REPORT: A textile manufacturer that weaves Scandinavian sensibility as the warp and Japanese aesthetic sense as the weft. Since its founding in 1988, the company has pursued the "possibilities of fabric that envelop our lives, freely transforming from flat to three-dimensional forms," without being confined to categories such as interior design or fashion.
