Remotely control the camera from a remote location with high reliability and operability
Since the remote commander “RMT-VP2” communicates with a Sony camera (*1) via Bluetooth (R), it realizes a more stable connection than infrared communication. It is now possible to operate the camera and shoot videos and still images remotely, increasing the degree of freedom in shooting. The wireless communication distance is approximately 10m (*2), enabling comfortable remote shooting.

The LED lamp lights or flashes to display remote control operation and camera status. You can easily check it with your hands while shooting. Also, the front panel is equipped with a shutter button, MOVIE button, AF-ON button, C1 button, and zoom/focus buttons, so you can shoot movies and still images intuitively with one hand. If frequently used functions are assigned to the AF-ON button or C1 button of the camera in advance, the same function can be called up simply by pressing the corresponding button on the remote commander, and the operation can be customized according to the shooting situation (*).

The “RMT-VP2” uses dustproof and splashproof specifications (*) and is compatible with all shooting environments. Furthermore, since there is no need to connect a cable or receiver to the camera, there is no need to open the terminal cover on the camera body, and the dustproof and splashproof performance of the remote commander itself has been improved.
