Product Introduction

The Kenko PRO ND Filter is a high-precision light reduction filter series with a special multilayer coating applied using vacuum deposition technology. It is used when you want to adjust only the amount of light without affecting the colors in your photos. The ND100 reduces light by a factor of 1/100 (transmittance 1%), allowing for a 6.7-stop exposure adjustment. Using a high-density ND filter like ND100 enables extreme slow shutter speeds, making it possible to intentionally create motion blur effects. You can soften the flow of mountain streams to a silky smoothness or effectively express the sense of speed and motion of moving subjects. Additionally, in video shooting, it allows you to open the aperture in bright sunlight to blur the background.

*Long exposure photography can intentionally create blur on moving subjects.
