[What is Mystery Dungeon?] The terrain, monster placement, and dropped items are all completely different every time you enter, allowing you to enjoy a different adventure every time—that's Mystery Dungeon. When you enter a dungeon, you start at level 1, so you must defeat monsters to grow stronger and pick up dropped items to build up your fighting strength. Furthermore, if you are defeated in the dungeon, you will lose all of your items and your level will return to 1.

Although Mystery Dungeon has such strict rules, the dungeon is turn-based, with monsters taking one action each time Shiren takes one, allowing for careful and thoughtful play. Even if you are defeated, don't give up. Use the knowledge and experience you have accumulated as a weapon to conquer the Mystery Dungeon.

[Story] Several months after the adventure in Tsukikage Village... The traveling wanderer Shiren and the talking weasel Koppa had a mysterious dream. The dream led him to Toguro Island, one of the small islands in the inland sea.

Pirate treasures are hidden all over the island, and it's said that an even greater treasure lies within the belly of a monster at the very depths.

Hearing these rumors, strong men from all over the country, dreaming of making a fortune, gather on the island.

What is the connection between the mysterious dreams the two men had and the island?

And what is the incredible treasure that lies on the island?

A new adventure begins for Shiren and Koppa.

[Character Introduction] ◆ Shiren The protagonist of this work. A wanderer who travels the world.

Equipped with a three-cornered hat and striped raincoat, kept as keepsakes from a friend, he has been traveling with the weasel Koppa since childhood.

◆ Koppa A weasel who travels with Shiren.

A "talking weasel" who can understand human language and can also speak with animals.

◆ Asuka A wandering female swordsman. She's an old friend of Shiren and his friends. She visits Toguro Island for a certain reason and reunites with them for the first time in a long time.
