DC 12V 2A Electric Magnetic Strike Lock for Doors Gates Cabinet Drawer

There ok I guess. No good for my project after all though. Prob with these is- once you cut the power from them, the shaft and the spring come shooting out of the barrel, which is not good for what I need. Should have been made so when power is cut and the shaft comes into lock position, it should stay there without the spring or shaft coming out of the barrel. Poor idea the way they have been designed really. Oh well, am sure I'll find a use for them at some point. My advice is don't bother with these.

The piece is too small for me. And it doesn’t work as expected. Without power there is no lock function
