E309L-16 is more suitable than E309-16 for cladding of carbon or low alloy steels and heat treated dissimilar joints.

It is not recommended for beginners and those who are new to welding to use thin plate welding, especially below 1mm. 1.0mm and 1.2mm electrodes are too thin for welding. It will rock back and forth. For customers with rich welding experience, if they want to weld a thin plate of about 0.5mm, they can choose a 1.4mm electrode. Please check the current range of the electrode current before , so as not to cause unnecessary trouble to both parties. - The electrode should be baked at 300-350℃ for 1 hour before welding. - Try to use DC power supply, the current should not be too large.
