Normal. Fabric on top, but suitable for indoor use. I took 41 for 38, but I took from the calculation to put an orthopedic insole. Everything worked out that way.

The shoes are similar to indoor ones, one is a little wider than the other, but in certain weather you can wear it outside, size 41 fits 40, yes, the sole is quite thin
