The first new work in three and a half years by talents representing Brazilian Mellow Groove along with Edi Motta is a superb work that resonates with the AOR return and city pop movements. The first album “Sambadi” ('13) and the second album “Solar” ('15) both received rave reviews, and his urban superb mellow groove has captured the hearts of Brazilian fusion fans and DJs, Lucas Arruda. The third album in three and a half years, which had nothing but expectations, has finally arrived! And, once again, this is an exquisite item among the best!

Although the previous work also showed a glimpse of that, this work has further shifted to a sound that shook off in the AOR direction, and the quality of the songs is at such a high level that it is no exaggeration to say that it is a true appearance in recent AOR revivals. Perhaps because it was co-produced with his older brother Thiago Arruda, who also participated in Edge Motta's 2018 film “Criterion of the Senses,” the smell common to the same work is scattered everywhere, and the content can be described as “Brazilian AOR's greatest masterpiece in recent years” with both Edge and Double Headed! Rather, for listeners looking for more floor-like grooves and sexy sounds, it can even be said that this work surpasses the edge!

If Edge's album is “Criterion of the Senses (Criterion of the Senses),” this one by Lucas is just like a “mass of sense.” The jacket, which looks like a homage to AOR masterpieces of yesteryear, also has a nice flavor. The release is from the up-and-coming French label “Favorite Recordings,” which has Andre Solonco and others, so there's no doubt about its quality!
