The sound source for a performance in Japan that took place in 1982/10 after the presentation of the masterpiece “Le Pollen (pollen),” in which many Japanese musicians participated, was miraculously discovered. Takahashi Yukihiro, Moonriders, Shimizu Yasuaki, Yaguchi Hiroyasu, Kato Kazuhiko, and David Sylvian act as backers, and it is a valuable record where Japanese musicians from the New Wave period are linked to Pierre Barroux and Salava.

The sound source for Pierre Barroux's first hall performance in Japan in 1982 has miraculously been discovered! The legendary Postal Savings Hall concert in which Kazuhiko Kato/Takahashi Yukihiro/Moonriders/Shimizu Yasuaki and others participated was released over 40 years ago.

“Polen (pollen)” is a masterpiece that determined the bond between Pierre Barroux and Japan.

This is a monumental album (released in 1982/9) that protester Naoki Tachikawa went to Paris, offered it to Pierre Ballou, invited him to Japan, and gathered around 20 gorgeous Japanese artists who are avid fans of Pierre & Saravas.

Participating artists include Yukihiro Takahashi, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Yasuaki Shimizu, Keiichi Suzuki, etc. Furthermore, it also includes a co-composition with Kazuhiko Kato, and is known as an album that continues to influence not only Pierre Ballou's career but also the Japanese music scene.

On 10/15, the month following the recording of this album, Pierre Barroux's first hall concert centered around recording members was held at the Shiba Post Savings Hall, produced by Naoki Tachikawa.

The concert at the Paris Cardin Theatre, which was performed by almost the same members the following year was made into a CD, but the sound source was not found for this essential concert at the Postal Savings Hall, and it has been handed down as a legendary concert for a long time.

However, this year, a tape recording this concert was miraculously unearthed from Naoki Tachikawa's office, and this is an unmultiplied “legendary concert” that saw the light of day for the first time in about 40 years.

mastering is DSD mastering from 1/4 tape by Ono Seigen. Performances by Takahashi Yukihiro, Kato Kazuhiko, Moonriders members (Suzuki Keiichi/Okada Toru/Shirai Yoshiaki/Suzuki Hirofumi/Takekawa Masahiro /Kashibuchi Tetsuro), Shimizu Yasuaki, and others who participated in the album “Polen (pollen)” are also valuable as a record of the pinnacle of the Japanese music scene in the 80s. The repertoire includes not only from “Polen (pollen),” but also the popular song “Love Is Stronger Than Us” from the movie “Man and Woman,” the famous song “Samba Sarava,” etc.

Furthermore, a legendary scene where they play an LP from “Killy” (the movie “White Lovers”) on stage and do a duet is also recorded this time.

Also included are valuable sound sources such as the exchange between Pierre and Takahashi Yukihiro in the title song “Flower Pollen” (David Sylvian also participated on the stage on the spot).

Not to mention the splendor and accuracy of each artist's performances, Pierre Ballou, who was 48 years old at the time, also became a turning point in his career, and songs that became an important repertoire for live shows since then are occupied.
