Jimmy Cliff is a 1944 Jamaican reggae singer. It debuted in '61, and “Dearest Beverly/ Hurricane Hatty” in '62 was a hit. After that, they signed a contract with Island and made their album debut with “Hard Road to Travel” in '67. Hits such as “Vietnam” and “Wild World” were released in '70. He starred in the 1972 film “The Harder They Come,” and the soundtrack was a big hit around the world and established firm popularity. Since then, albums have been released every year. The album, which was transferred to CBS in the 80s and released, recorded a hit for the first time in a long time, and won a Grammy for “Cliff Hanger” in 1985. The theme song “I Can See Cleary Now” from the 1993 film “Cool Running” was also a big hit. Since then, he has appeared in many movies, worked on music, and performed with rock musicians. It also participated in many festivals and charity events around the world, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010. In 2022, they released their first album “Refugees” in 10 years and showed their energy.
