Shingo Kunieda
The king and pioneer of wheelchair tennis. He holds the record for being the first wheelchair tennis player to win a Grand Slam. At the Paralympics, he won 4 gold medals, 27 Grand Slam singles titles, and 21 doubles titles.
“Every time I play wheelchair tennis in various places around the world, I feel the mutual respect and challenge between players and the enthusiastic support of the spectators, and I realize the power of sports every time. I hope many people can experience the wonder of sharing their emotions while watching or playing sports in person. That desire led me to participate in this project. '
