The Mystic Soul Tarot was inspired by the original Rider-Waite Smith version of the Tarot, first published in 1909. I simply modernized the original artwork with my own unique eye. My goal was to make the cards more relatable by capturing a 21st century vibe. I used rich, vibrant colors throughout the deck, to uplift the energy of the reader and bring a sense of comfort and warmth.
The Mystic Soul Tarot is a 78 card deck that I created with the intention to inspire, uplift, and motivate. As it did for me. I say that because I illustrated the cards after a time when I had forgotten who I was. (The pandemic put me in a place of fear.) I had to make a conscious effort to reignite my flame and find myself again. The Mystic Soul Tarot did that for me. It literally brought my lifeless soul back to life.
