Super Aguri F1 SA08 #19 as Minichamps 1/43 scale model car Anthony Davidson on board This is a model of the formula car that the Super Aguri F1 Team entered in the 2008 F1 World Championship. This model was driven by Takuma Sato with car number 18. Unfortunately, this is the last machine of the Super Aguri F1 Team, which ended the 2008 season with the Spanish Grand Prix (the decision to withdraw was made just before the Turkish Grand Prix). The SA08 is based on the RA107 used by Honda F1 in the 2007 season, and uses parts common to the RA108 around the rear, and some of the other aerodynamic parts are original by Super Aguri. The border fins on the side pods are integrated with the rear exhaust port (chimney duct), which was tested in off-season testing.The front wing is also equipped with three flaps, which has not been seen on previous Super Aguri F1 machines. The unique red, white, and black coloring has been faithfully reproduced, and Takuma's characteristic helmet coloring has also been faithfully reproduced.
