"Fine Macro" is a revolutionary new technology that suggests a new direction for strobes. ■Why we were particular about a "ring tube"... After considering the shape of the best light source for macro photography, we decided to use a "ring tube," which allows the light emitting part to be placed close to the optical axis of the lens and provides a homogeneous image with fewer shadows. This is why we chose to use a "ring tube" for comfortable macro photography, even though the manufacturing cost is relatively high. Furthermore, in the MF18, the ring tube is divided into left and right parts, and we have succeeded in developing a new method of manual light intensity ratio control that can be controlled separately or shifted simultaneously while maintaining the difference in light intensity. ■Be comfortable with all macro lenses! A large aperture macro lens of up to 77mm can be attached. However, when attaching a large aperture lens, vignetting occurs due to the inner arc of the emitting ring.
