Upper disc has 3/8"-1/4" reversible screw The Gitzo GT1532 Carbon Tripod is a lightweight, three-section tripod recommended for use with SLR cameras with lenses up to 135mm (up to 200mm). This professional tripod uses Carbon eXact tubes, which have thicker leg tube diameters and HM (high modulus) carbon fiber in all sections compared to the previous model, improving rigidity and robustness. The Gitzo GT1532 weighs just 1.33kg and has a comfortable height of 158cm (133cm with the center pole lowered), making it ideal for photographers who want to take professional shots while still being lightweight. When lowering the camera position close to the ground, the newly designed "Ground Level Set" mechanism allows the center pole to be easily removed by loosening the dedicated ring directly under the upper disk, allowing for quick setup. The center pole can also be inverted upside down. The three-section legs of the Gitzo GT1532 can be securely locked with the twist lock mechanism "G-Lock Ultra", and the O-ring inside the lock prevents sand and other contaminants from entering. The body of the tripod is more robust than previous models. To switch between the three leg angles, lift the large, easy-to-grab leg angle selector and the built-in spring allows for quick switching. The bottom end of the center pole is equipped with a hook, so you can hang a camera bag or other items to stabilize the tripod. The spikes can be removed, allowing you to attach optional accessories such as spikes and large spikes depending on the ground and shooting conditions. The upper disk has a 3/8"-1/4" reversible screw, allowing you to connect a variety of heads and accessories.
