Product Introduction

This is a 1/72 scale precision plastic model kit of the F-35A Lightning II, which is currently being introduced to the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) as of 2018. The JASDF plans to introduce 42 aircraft, with the first aircraft making its first flight in the United States in August 2016. The second through fourth aircraft subsequently made their first flights, followed by the first domestically assembled aircraft (fifth overall) in June 2017, and the second in September. These F-35As will be deployed to Misawa Air Base and become the 302nd Squadron. Build this cutting-edge stealth aircraft, responsible for defending Japan's skies. ■ The entire fuselage is meticulously sculpted. ■ Can be assembled in either landing or flight mode. ■ The internal weapons bay is also reproduced, with a cover that can be opened or closed. ■ Markings are included to recreate JASDF aircraft. ■ The coating on the entire fuselage is reproduced with decals.
