During World War II, the German Tiger I heavy tank was feared by Allied forces for its powerful offensive capabilities and heavy armor. This is a plastic assembly model kit of the late-production Tiger, which began production in January 1944 and demonstrated its effectiveness in the Battle of Normandy and other battles. This model faithfully recreates not only the Tiger's distinctive vertical hull and turret equipped with an 88mm gun, but also the late-production tank's distinctive features, such as the periscope added to the command tower and pressed steel road wheels. The main gun loading compartment inside the turret and the undersides of each hatch are also precisely recreated.
