Before first use, ensure that two batteries are present. Press the power button to turn on the power, then use a cushioned pillow to hold the volume flat, keeping your legs straight and relaxed. The fetal probe, placed against the abdomen, locates the fetus's position and finds the optimal orientation of the fetal heart.
