In Dragonwood, you collect adventurer cards to create dice and roll them against your enemies. Angry at some fire ants, yell at a grumpy troll, or slay a menacing orange dragon with your magical silver sword. Dragonwood's landscape is constantly changing, so choose your strategy carefully. Only the bravest will overcome the challenges to emerge victorious! Gameplay: Players take turns drawing cards and attempting to capture creatures and enhancements. Players draw from an adventure deck containing five different colored cards, all numbered 1-12. Using these cards, players create combinations to attempt to Strike (cards in any color row), Stomp (cards with the same number), or Scream (cards of the same color). To capture, players roll a number of dice equal to the number of cards in a particular combination. Each creature requires
Each player has a minimum value for Strike, Stomp, or Scream, and a victory point amount. The game features six dice and Side 1, Side 2, Side 2, Side 3, Side 3, and Side 4. The Dragonwood deck contains 42 cards, five of which appear on the landscape at any time. The deck contains creatures, creature-like devices that help players capture creatures, and events that affect play. If both dragons are defeated, the game ends and the player with the most points wins! Is it best to go for a few small creatures or save up for a bigger attack? Should you improve in the hope of a payoff, or should you immediately search for creatures? Should you take a chance or go for something? Because the deck is different every time you play Dragonwood, no two games are the same!
