【Cautions for using electrical products】
When using electrical appliances, please note that the voltage is different from that of Japan, which may cause malfunctions.
Since the plug type is Japan type(A or B type), please check the voltage and use a transformer.
Please note that a transformer is different from a conversion adapter.
We are not responsible for malfunctions caused by use without a transformer.
【Voltage Compatibility】
When using electrical appliances, please note that they are designed for Japanese voltage specifications (90-110V), so if you use them with a different voltage, it may cause a malfunction.
【Plug Type】
Our products use Japanese plug types (A or B type).
Please use a conversion adapter if necessary.
【Important Note on Transformers and Adapters】
A transformer adjusts voltage to match your device’s requirements.
A conversion adapter only changes the plug shape and does not adjust voltage.
Using only a conversion adapter without a transformer may result in damage to the product.
【Liability】
We are not responsible for malfunctions or damages caused by improper use, such as operating the product without a transformer.

Traditionally made by the fifth generation of RIENZOME (since 1872).
Odawara Castle [Nihon Ichiban] is a special design for the Nihon Ichiban brand. Our company, CHINRIU, was founded in Odawara (Kanagawa Prefecture) in 1871 by Moniya Komine, the last cook at Odawara Castle. Now run by the fifth generation of the Komine family, who started the Nihon Ichiban brand to share Nihon Ichiban arts and crafts with the world. This tenugui features Odawara Castle, a landmark of Odawara, built in 1447! As an important symbol of the city and its surroundings, we are passionate about promoting this beautiful building. We've also collaborated with Rienzome to create this truly Japanese Tengu. For every Tengu sold, we'll donate 100 yen to the NPO Target to rebuild the castle's original wooden structure! "Tenugui" is often translated as "Japanese towel," but this translation fails to cover its diversity and cultural significance. Tenugui not only function as hand towels and handkerchiefs, but also as fashion items, gift wrapping, souvenirs, sweatbands, and padding. in the martial arts kendo), and of course as ornaments due to their often beautiful, interesting or nostalgic patterns.
Tenugui cloths are unhemmed by default and are quick drying.
