Cook delicious rice like you'd get in a traditional Japanese stove. Donabe pots are ideal for cooking rice because they don't heat up or cool down quickly. They gently heat each grain of rice, and far-infrared rays make it fluffy all the way to the core. This eye-opening, convenient tool brings out the rice's natural sweetness. It cooks quickly over direct heat, making it eco-friendly. In about 35 minutes, you can make delicious authentic oven-cooked sweet potatoes, stewed curries without breaking them down, stews, and waterless vegetables. Cooking Instructions for White Rice and Seasoned Rice: Washing the Rice: First, wash the rice. Place the thoroughly washed rice in a pot and add water, following the water level line on the inside of the pot. Adding Water: Add approximately 190cc-200cc of water per 1 cup of rice. *Adjust the amount of water to your liking. Soak the rice for at least 30 minutes. (The amount of water and time will vary depending on the quality of the rice.) Cooking (For Gas Stoves): Cook over medium-high heat for approximately 9-15 minutes, then turn off the heat. As a guideline, turn off the heat 30 seconds after steam begins to vigorously emerge from the cooking holes. Extending the cooking time by 1-2 minutes will create a fragrant charred texture. After turning off the heat, let the rice steam for 10-20 minutes. Do not leave the lid on. After that, open the lid to release excess steam, loosen the rice with a rice paddle, and stir well. How to Cook Brown Rice Washing the Rice First, wash the brown rice. Water Amount: For 1 cup of brown rice, use approximately 300cc to 340cc of water. For 2 cups of brown rice, use approximately 620cc to 670cc of water. For 3 cups of brown rice, use approximately 930cc to 1000cc of water. For 4 cups of brown rice, use approximately 1240cc to 1330cc of water. (Approximately 300cc to 330cc of water per cup of brown rice.) The inner line is for white rice, so for brown rice, use a measuring cup or similar to measure the amount of water. Adjust the amount of water depending on how you want it cooked. Soak in water for at least an hour. (The amount of water and time will vary depending on the quality of the brown rice.)
