Arclight Quanto (Single Player, 60-120 Minutes, Ages 10+) Board Game

The first installment in Season 2 of the "Kaiju on the Earth" series. "Quanto" is a monster x tower defense-style game. Players take on the role of military commanders and must defend seven cities from the insect monster "Quanto" that is attacking Europe. This game can be played solo or with two or three players.

Monster abilities are "multiplication" and "combination." When monsters gather in one city, they combine to change form, becoming stronger. Each form has a special ability that will surely challenge players. Each city also has a defensive strength and a limited number of monsters it can place. Exceeding this limit will destroy that city, and destroying three cities will result in defeat.

Cards in your hand include "strategy cards" that can defeat or move monsters (positive effects), and "threat cards" that increase or strengthen monsters (negative effects). You must use all of your cards, including your deck, so the timing and order in which you use them is very important. You win the game when you have used all of your cards three times.

Which monsters will you destroy individually, and which will you destroy together? Your decisions hold the fate of Europe and the world in their hands.
