This is a safe and secure purified ash made only from domestically produced diatomaceous earth. By firing diatomaceous earth with just the right particle size (neither too small nor too large) at high temperatures, we have achieved both a fluffy and substantial texture. The ash is less likely to scatter or harden, making maintenance minimal. It retains heat well and leaves almost no residue. Incense sticks can be inserted easily and stand upright.
