Specification:
Item Type: Radiator Pressure Tester Set
Material: ABS+Rubber+Carbon Steel
Gauge Scale: 0 35 psi, 0 2.5 bar
Instructions
1. Open the water tank. Before opening the water tank lid, ensure that the water tank is in a cooled state.
2. Select the appropriate water tank test head for the vehicle series.
3. Tighten the water tank test head and inspect that the rubber ring is fully in place.
4. Insert the quick connector into the water tank test head.
5. Take out the hand pump assembly and pressurize it until the pressure indicator reaches approximately 15 20 psi (or 1 Bar).
6. Inspect the pressure gauge.
6.1 If the pressure gauge pointer remains unchanged for a few minutes, it indicates that the system is functioning properly.
6.2 If the pointer drops, it indicates that there are cracks in the system due to pressure damage.
6.2.1 Check if there are any leaks in the water tank pipes and repair them based on the location of the leaks.
6.2.2 Check the condition of the rubber ring.
6.2.3 Recheck to ensure that the system is functioning properly after the repair.
7. After completing the test, release the pressure from the pressure relief valve until the pressure gauge returns to zero.
8. Before storing, follow these steps:
8.1 Insert the water tank test head into the quick connector and pressurize it several times to release any remaining water or air from the hand pump assembly pipes.
8.2 Inject pneumatic oil into the air hole at the back of the hand pump assembly to lubricate the piston in the pipes. Then, insert the water tank test head into the quick connector and pressurize it several times to release any remaining pneumatic oil from the hand pump assembly pipes before storing.
