Bortoletti Fonderia Artistica It all began in 1980 when four brothers and their father founded a small bronze casting and engraving laboratory on the Venice Lagoon. By devising new manufacturing methods and processes, we have drastically improved the quality of our products. By pouring in years of experience, our products have matured and become more complete. The metals used for our gift sets are made of nickel silver or silver alloys with intricate engraving. The wood is rosewood, and the Venetian glass is from Murano. Bortoletti's products are completely handmade and boast high quality jewel-like designs, so even if they have the same design, each piece is slightly different, which is the beauty of handmade products. The traditional and prestigious finish is carefully crafted by skilled jewellery craftsmen. Murano Island is located northeast of the main island of Venice and is known as a glass workshop and artisan town, as well as a tourist attraction. This pen has an antique feel with a Murano glass barrel and a nickel silver-decorated neck. The combination of transparent glass and heavy nickel silver creates a surprisingly natural and calm atmosphere on your desk. The pen is fitted with a clear glass nib.
