The hand-applied wax creates a rich, deep color with contrasting shades. This process, known as "pool-up," whitens the folded sections, allowing for a unique aging experience that reveals each individual user's unique character. While initially stiff, characteristic of tanned leather, it will soften and conform to your hand with use.
