The first commuter train in the Rokuhan Z Shorty series was the 205 series, which appeared at the end of the Japan National Railways era and ran through the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras.
This unorthodox Yate 35 train set was the only 205 series on the Yamanote Line to feature single-drop side windows and was a late-production model with large passenger door windows, making it a memorable train despite its short service life.
It has been recreated without a skirt to match the actual train from that time.
[Set contents]
1 x 205 series leading car, 1 x 205 series middle car, 1 x 205 series trailing car, 3 x drawbars.
[About the Z Shorty]
By incorporating the separately sold power and trailer chassis, Z Shorty trains can navigate the smallest radius curves on Z gauge rails, the "R45"!
The smallest oval course is 11cm long x 16cm wide, allowing trains to run in even the smallest spaces, even around you!
The length of the train is approximately half that of a Z gauge train. Despite being a deformed model, the attention to detail remains the same!
The product includes a dummy chassis.
The product itself is a display model, but by incorporating the separately sold power and trailer chassis, it can run on the same rails as regular Z gauge trains!
