The God of Wealth (Zaishin) is not very familiar in Japan, but he has been worshipped in China since ancient times, and in Feng Shui he is a god who is almost always said to be worshiped to increase financial luck, and he can be seen in many places, from commercial establishments such as companies and stores to ordinary homes.
The Taoist god of wealth, as his name suggests, governs wealth, bringing prosperity to businesses and career advancement. The five great gods of wealth worshipped in China are Wang Hai (Zhongbin Wealth, center), Bi Gan (Cultural Wealth, east), Fan Li (Cultural Wealth, south), Guan Gong (Military Wealth, west), and Zhao Gongming (Military Wealth, north). In addition, there are the four "Four Directional Gods of Wealth": Duan Mu Ci (southwest), Li Xizu (northeast), Guan Zhong (southeast), and Bai Gui (northwest). With Wang Hai at the center, the other gods govern eight directions, forming a "four directions, eight directions, one center" structure.
However, in modern Chinese folk beliefs, these are not so strictly distinguished, and the "God of Wealth" that is generally worshipped is the God of Literature and Wealth. In addition to this, the God of Military Wealth, "Guan Gong (Guan Yu)", is also very popular and can be seen in many restaurants and other establishments around town.
This wooden statue of the God of Wealth and Wealth is carved from rare natural boxwood from Hubei Province, China, and meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans. It features extremely detailed and intricate carvings. It is available in a variety of sizes to suit various spaces, such as a desk, reception room, or living room.
He has a long beard and a gentle smile, and in his left hand he holds a gold coin, an ancient coin, and in his right hand he holds a Ruyi (ruyi) deity, which is used to ward off evil spirits. The words "The God of Wealth Arrives" written on the base are auspicious phrases in China, meaning "The God of Wealth is Coming" or "The God of Wealth is Here."
Available in two sizes: 16cm and 21cm. Delivered in a special presentation box.
*Please note that these are handmade using natural boxwood, so there may be individual differences in the grain and finish of the fine details.
