This digital hi-hat features a high-resolution sensor system designed to maximize the performance of the TD-50X's sound engine.

A thin, 14-inch pad delivers an acoustic-like feel and expressive power.

Wide-range touch sensors allow for manual muting.

As with previous models, it can be mounted on an acoustic hi-hat stand.

It responds to and expresses the player's subtle nuances in a way that previous electronic drums could not. The VH-14D offers dramatically improved sensitivity, tonal changes, and open/close resolution analysis, delivering unprecedented expressiveness. The thinner, two-layer 14-inch pad provides a more natural feel, and the high-resolution sensor system accurately reads the strength of the strike, the position of the stick, and pedal work. Not only can you create natural foot splashes, but the hi-hat can also be muted with the touch of your hand, just like an acoustic drum.
