Principle of Fuel Pressure Adjustment: Adjusts the amount of fuel supplied by the high-pressure pump into the common rail tube. The higher the fuel supply, the higher the fuel pressure. Conversely, the smaller the fuel supply, the lower the fuel pressure. By controlling the duty cycle, the ecu controls the average coil current and thus the common rail fuel pressure.
