[ARCREST II: Approaching the Lens' Original Image Capability to the Extreme] This high-performance protective filter approaches the lens's original image capacities to the extreme through the achievement of an ultra-low reflection AR coating and high optical performance. It protects your valuable lens while achieving high optical performance that minimizes the impact on the image. [Ultra-low reflectivity AR coating "Zero One AR Coat" with a single-sided reflectivity of approximately 0.1%] The "Zero One AR Coat" is an ultra-low reflectivity AR coating with minimal variation in reflectivity across the entire visible light range, bringing the single-sided reflectivity close to approximately 0.1%. It minimizes distortion of color balance and reduces the occurrence of ghosting and flare that can degrade image quality. High image quality comparable to that obtained when shooting without a filter can be obtained. [Achieving high flatness polishing accuracy with fewer than one interference fringe] High-quality optical glass is precisely polished to a flat surface and mounted to the filter frame using Nikon's unique "Flat Plane System" mounting technology to maintain its flatness. The occurrence of factors that negatively affect optical performance is minimized to the greatest extent possible. [Effective Antistatic Coating] A new antistatic coating has been applied to the front of the filter. This makes it less prone to static electricity, reducing the adhesion of dust and debris to the filter. 【Superior Water and Oil Repellent Coating】The water and oil repellent coating makes it difficult for dirt to adhere even in harsh shooting environments, and if dirt does adhere, it can be easily wiped off.
