The Tascam DR-05X Portable Handheld Recorder Bundle is designed for speech, sound effects, and live music recording applications. It can capture two high-resolution audio tracks without the need for an external microphone. The onboard omnidirectional condenser microphone is fixed in an A-B configuration, allowing for spacious stereo imaging of the source. The DR-05X is versatile as a handheld device or when set up on a stand or camera mount, suitable for everything from recording sessions and recitals to interviews and podcasts. It features flexible power options including batteries, USB bus power, or AC adapter, making it ideal for outdoor recording, all-day video shoots, and computer-based audio production. Need to patch into a lavalier microphone or external mixer? The 3.5mm mini-jack input supports microphone or line-level signals and can supply plug-in power if needed. Whether using the built-in microphone or external sources, you can select modes such as peak reduction, limiting, and auto level to ensure clean, distortion-free recordings.
This bundle includes a 16GB UHS-I microSDHC memory card with a storage capacity of 16GB, supporting UHS-I bus with read speeds up to 80MB/s. The card complies with Class 10 standards, guaranteeing a minimum write speed of 10MB/sec.
