Product Introduction
This free-standing mat features a simple checkered pattern and is made from domestically grown rush grass. It's perfect for a quick nap during your work break. Rush grass has the following benefits: 1. It absorbs moisture approximately 2.5 times more than cotton, reducing the clinginess of sweat. 2. It regulates humidity, preventing stuffiness and promoting a comfortable sleep. 3. It reduces odor by over 90% by suppressing the chemicals that cause sweat odor. The inner filling is made with 40mm of solid cotton for superior cushioning, providing just the right amount of resilience and comfort for use on hardwood floors. The surface of the rush grass is treated with hiba essence (antibacterial and deodorizing). "Hiba oil," extracted from hiba trees in Aomori Prefecture, is processed into materials and products using proprietary technology from the manufacturer. "Hiba oil" contains hinokitiol, a naturally occurring substance with extremely high antibacterial properties, and its use is being studied in a variety of fields, including medicine and food.
