This eco-friendly ceramic filter and stand set eliminates the need for paper filters and is washable and reusable.
● It retains the flavor of coffee oils while reducing impurities and acidity for a mellow, clean taste.
● The simple and stylish stand holds the ceramic filter comfortably.
● After approximately 10 uses, clean the filter by boiling it.
[Before Use]
● This product is made by firing natural clay at high temperatures. Therefore, discoloration may occur in some areas due to the influence of the clay's components. This does not affect the product's usability. Please understand that this is a unique characteristic of ceramic.
● Before first use, wash with water and boil for approximately 10 minutes. (Fine powder remaining from the roasting process may be present in the water, but this will not affect extraction.)
[When Using]
● If you place the filter directly on a cup or server, coffee may leak from the contact points. Please use the dedicated stand.
● The filter may chip or break if dropped, subjected to impact, or hit against a hard object, so handle with care.
● Do not wash the filter in the dishwasher.
● If cleaning the filter with a mild detergent, rinse and rinse with water after washing to ensure all bubbles have disappeared.
● Use the dedicated stand on a stable surface.
● If it becomes dirty, wipe it with water or mild detergent. Wipe off excess water thoroughly and allow to dry.
[How to Use]
●1. Place the filter on the stand and place a cup or server directly underneath.
●2. Add your desired coffee grounds and gently shake to even out the coffee.
●3. Pour hot water over the grounds, swirl it around until a few drops appear. Let it steep for approximately 20 seconds.
●4. Pour the water slowly in a circular motion.
[Care and Cleaning After Use]
●1. After use, remove and discard the coffee grounds with a spoon.
●2. Rinse the grounds under running water (if any small particles remain, they can be easily removed with a brush).
●3. Pour hot water over the filter and rinse until the water runs clear.
●4. Fill a container deeper than the filter with hot water and place the bottom of the container under the filter. Once the dirt floats to the surface, discard the cloudy water. The water pressure reverses the flow of the brew, effectively cleaning the filter.
[Special Maintenance]
● After approximately 10 uses (20 cups for a 2-cup brew), add approximately 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a pot filled with water large enough to completely cover the filter, and boil for 10-20 minutes.
● After boiling, pour the water over the filter until it runs clear before brewing again.
● Before storing, allow the filter to dry thoroughly (for at least 24 hours) and store in a well-ventilated area.
