■In 1883, Waterman developed the world's first ink supply system for fountain pens incorporating the capillary effect.
Waterman is called the “founder of fountain pens” because of the fact that many fountain pens still use this mechanism today, and because of the development of caps with clips and cartridge inks, etc.
Waterman, which manufactures all writing instruments in a French factory, is particular about quality without compromising even the smallest details.
The pen was not just a “writing tool,” but also sublimated into a “tool for self-expression” that embodies Parisian elegance.
They can rightly be called “writing jewelry (jewel-like writing instruments).”
■Fashionable design wearing Waterman's signature open window clip. Even though this smart silhouette is a standard model, Waterman's elegance is fully expressed, and it is a series that highlights individuality with a wide variety of colors. Perfect for any city in the world, this one makes an excellent gift. Since its release in 1994, “Metropolitan Essential” has been refreshed into a more elegant and sophisticated style from “Metropolitan,” which has been loved across time and space.
