This special set includes the Nintendo Switch software "ASTRAL CHAIN," an art book featuring many illustrations and concept art from the game, and an original soundtrack CD featuring the game's background music. An all-new title from PlatinumGames! A groundbreaking action game where you fight using dual-action combat, now available on Nintendo Switch. Take on the monstrous creatures as a member of the police special forces. The story is set in a near-future city. The monstrous creatures that suddenly appeared on the surface of the earth have contaminated the land, causing numerous incidents of people being harmed...! In order to confront the monstrous creatures that ordinary police forces are powerless to deal with, the protagonist sets out to solve the cases as a member of the special forces, along with the special weapon "Legion" created by humans. Fight enemies in cooperation with the special weapon "Legion." The game's greatest feature is "Dual Action." The protagonist and Legion skillfully cooperate in various styles to fight enemies, such as "the protagonist and Legion attack the same enemy simultaneously," "attacking different enemies," or "leaving the attack to Legion and the protagonist supporting with items." Developed by PlatinumGames, the powerful production team includes Masakazu Katsura as character designer. The original concept was by Takahisa Taura, known as the game designer of "NieR:Automata," while Hideki Kamiya, who worked on the "Bayonetta series," was in charge of supervision. The character design for the game was handled by Masakazu Katsura, who is well known for his work on the manga "ZETMAN" and "Video Girl Ai." While retaining the PlatinumGames-style "super-satisfying" controls, this action game offers a completely new gameplay experience.
