----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ettila (also known as Eteilla, Jean-Baptista Alliette, and Jean-François Alliette) was a French man who was the first successful fortune teller.
In 1781, he was influenced by the ``Tarot's theory of Egyptian origins'' advocated by Cour de Gebelin, and around 1785 he published a book called ``How to relax with the card game calls Tarot.''
Around that time, I created my first tarot cards specifically for fortune telling. (=Reprint version: “Gran Ettila”)
Until then, tarot cards were mainly used for games, so this shift would have a huge impact on future generations.
This tarot was not designed by Ettila but by someone else, and is one of the reprints of one published in 1870 under the title "Grand Jeu de Oracle des Dames".
It is said to be a reproduction of the ancient Egyptian document ``Book of Thoth.''
It has a different composition from the currently mainstream "Rider (Waite-Smith) version" and "Marseille version" and has a classic atmosphere.
The cards are serially numbered from 1 to 78, with 22 cards called Superior Lames and 56 cards called Lames of Wands, Lames of Chalices, Lames of Swords, and Lames of Pentacles, a total of 78 cards.
Superior Lames correspond to the Major Arcana, and other cards correspond to the Minor Arcana.
