A New York legend has finally been ``resurrected'' Over the years, there has been a mouthpiece that has been highly popular in New York across genres, from orchestral players to big band players. The workshop continued after being acquired in the 1980s, but closed around the 1990s. Although the brand continued to exist and we were able to continue receiving orders, multiple subcontractors were now doing the actual manufacturing. The subcontractor manufacturers differed depending on the period, and sometimes European mouthpiece specialty manufacturers were responsible for OEM production. Among the multiple subcontractor manufacturers, it was discovered that an American manufacturer possessed the original data and tools. Based on the manufacturer's strong desire to ``bring New York's venerable mouthpiece back into the modern world,'' we have named it ``NY Classic,'' and all models for trumpet, including the popular V-cup model (VS, VM, V). Production has started. Because it is manufactured faithfully to the original drawings, the sound, resonance, and feel of the mouthpiece are the same as those of yesteryear. It is difficult to obtain because production has stopped.
Now you can get your hands on an ``original'' mouthpiece, rather than a ``copy,'' which has been difficult to obtain. A New York tradition is finally making a comeback.
