【FU 2.3KΩ Potentiometer】 – Replacement variable resistor manufactured by Favor Union (FU). Compatible with FU analog joysticks. This 2.3K ohm version was found on some PS5 DualSense controllers
【Compatibility】 – FU sensor has two different resistance values. This 2.3K version was printed in 2K3. Please make sure the value is approximately 2.3KΩ before ordering. (Note: If you find an FU joystick inside, please choose the 10KΩ version for some PS3, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Hori, PDP, BDA (Power A) controllers. The orange potentiometer made by FU is , is not compatible with joysticks made by ALPS. 60% of PS5 controllers use ALPS joysticks.
[Additional Resistor] – Due to the complex moving mechanism and daily wear and tear, drift eventually occurred. Calibration in controller settings may not work. Packed with 10 compensation resistors to solve potential problems at hardware level. Solder one or two parallel small resistors to the potentiometer in opposite directions to the drift. Helps correct 3-5 degree drift. Please see the instruction photos
【For most joystick problems】 – If your controller has creep, stutter, blind spots, dead spots, dead zone problems, or you need to replace the 3 pin trimmer potentiometer sensor. tear. It is much easier to unsolder the unit with only 3 pins than to replace the entire module with up to 14 prongs
[Replacement Reminder] – Make sure you have basic soldering skills and desoldering supplies such as an electronics soldering iron or small solder. Use pliers to separate the problematic sensor from the thumbstick component. A metal pick will help clear the holes in the PCB. Re-soldering a new unit is easy. Don't forget to adjust the new control stick in settings
FU 2.3K Potentiometer
8x OEM replacement variable resistor was made by Favor Union (FU). It fits analog joysticks made by FU. This 2.3K ohm version was found in some PS5 DualSense controllers
1.Solve most of joystick problems:
80% chances of joystick problems were caused by the potentiometer. In another words, the rotary mechanism and the tactile switches are not the problem. You can simply replace the side potentiometer sensor alone to solve most of the joystick problems
2.Additional resistors included:
Complicated moving mechanism and daily wear and tear can cause drifting, and even new potentiometers can not be 100% balanced. Calibrating in controller settings might not work. Please solder one or more paralleled resistors at the opposite direction against drifting
Compatibility Notes:
1.FU potentiometers do not work with joysticks made by ALPS
2.FU sensors come in two different resistance values. This 2.3K version was printed 2K3. Please make sure the resistance value is about 2.3K ohm before ordering
3.Please choose 10K version for some PS3, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Hori, PDP, BDA (Power A) controllers with FU joystick inside
