This watch is reminiscent of Venice's Redentore Festival. In the composition, Piazza San Marco comes alive at night, with the majestic Basilica of San Giorgio Maggiore in the background and the Doge's Palace to the left. In the center of the scene, the Lion of St. Mark stands proudly, symbolizing the power of the Serenissima. The scene is surrounded by a starry sky, providing a magical and enchanting backdrop for the fireworks lighting up the sky, creating an atmosphere of celebration and joy. ①One of the most distinctive features is the off-center dial. Usually reserved for luxury watches, this design element adds a touch of sophistication and originality. In this example, the off-center dial is crafted from white mother-of-pearl, an iridescent material symbolizing the moon, and delicately framed by a polished steel ring. This layout separates the mother-of-pearl from the rest of the design, depicting the enchanting Redentore's Piazza San Marco at night. ②The structure of the dial is very complex and is divided into four levels. First, there is a starry sky made of aventurine, and then there is a small off-center dial made of mother-of-pearl
. Next is set a satin-finished disc depicting fireworks, with a rhodium-plated bas-relief of the Doge's Palace and the Basilica of San Giorgio Maggiore in the background. This complex construction is made possible by the use of a micro-automatic movement with a diameter of just 17.55 mm. The movement is secured with a circular-grained brass ring. ③The case combines design and functionality.
