The 14-element lens in 11 groups includes three aspherical lenses and one SLD glass. This effectively suppresses various aberrations such as astigmatism and curvature of field that cannot be corrected by camera-side functions.
Adopts a linear motor "HLA (High-response Linear Actuator)". Additionally, by using a single double-sided aspherical lens for the focus lens, it achieves high-speed, quiet focusing and high tracking performance despite its large aperture.
Equipped with a focus mode switch, an aperture ring click switch that allows you to turn click ON/OFF, an aperture ring lock switch that prevents unintentional operation, and an AFL button that allows you to assign any function from the camera. Designed for intuitive operation when shooting.
